The Family Preservation Program of The Community YMCA provides four to eight weeks of intensive psycho-educational services intended to stabilize a family.  Counselors provide an average of eight to ten hours of service a week for each family.  There is a present crisis that places at least one child at risk of being removed or a child is returning from an out of home placement.  All services are provided in home and are referred only through a DYFS contract.
