The Community YMCA provides high quality enrichment programs through positive expression in the visual and performing arts. Programs focus on fun and creative opportunities for children, teens and adults. We offer a variety of classes and workshops year round aimed at improving your innovative and original creative thinking! These programs include filmmaking, pottery, cartooning, photography and much more.  Programming is offered in Red Bank, Hazlet, Long Branch, Middletown, Highlands and many other locations throughout Monmouth County.

Y Arts and Y-Clubs

The Community YMCA’s Y Arts and After School Y-Clubs offer students in a number of participating area school districts with the opportunity to participate in specialized after school enrichment programs held right at their school.  Programs include popular areas such as:

• Karate
• Creative Arts
• Clay & Sculpture
• Yoga Fun
• Creative Writing
• Video Game Design

Clubs are held for students in grades K-8 and operate after school once a week for a period of 6 to 8 weeks.   Current partnering school districts include:  Middletown, Matawan, Keansburg and Little Silver.

Fine Arts Institutes Specialty Camps

The Community YMCA also offers specialized Fine Arts Summer Institutes during the summer months.  Specialty Institutes are held in one-week camp sessions at the Hazlet Children’s Achievement Center, 745 Poole Avenue, Hazlet , during the month of July.
