A Brand New Day
Dear YMCA Friends:
For the first time in 43 years, the Y has unveiled a new brand strategy and logo to reinforce our cause and impact as one of the nation’s leading nonprofits.
For The Community YMCA, launching the Y’s new brand is an exciting endeavor. The new brand will help modernize the Y and better communicate what we do for our local communities each day.
The rebranding effort is designed to increase understanding of the impact that YMCAs make in communities across the country. It reflects the vibrancy and diversity of our organization and will help us extend our reach into our local communities.
We will call ourselves by the name that most people already use: the Y. We are a cause-driven organization that promises to strengthen the foundations of community through:
- Youth Development
- Healthy Living
- Social Responsibility
The Community YMCA will begin our roll out of the new brand this summer and expect to fully implement the new Y logo and brand over the coming year. We are excited about the opportunity to engage more people in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility and look forward to working together to build a stronger community.
