Building a Strong Foundation
We're here for families! Y preschool, youth enrichment and wellness programs are offered in Hazlet, Matawan and Middletown.
Youth Development
The Y nurtures the potential of every child and teen, cultivating the values, skills and
relationships to help them discover who they are and what they can achieve.
We’re here for families in the surrounding communities, with Y programs that support kids from preschool through high school. Children that benefi t from our Academic Preschool, Y-Kids before and after school programs, and arts enrichment, may go on to lead our Red Bank swim team, or participate in our leadership programs such as Y Achievers, Model UN or Youth & Government as teens!
At our Children’s Achievement Centers in Hazlet and Matawan and Hillside Community Center in Middletown, the Y is pleased to offer Academic Preschool for children ages 2½ to 5 years old, in addition to Mommy & Me, creative arts classes for youth, vacation/school break camps, and wellness programs for youth and adults. The Y also offers swim lessons and a variety of summer camps for children as young as 2½ years. From after school and summer camp to swimming and adult fitness, the Y has a program that’s just right for you and your family. We’re here for you!
Healthy Living
The Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through
fitness, sports, fun and shared interests.
The Y is committed to encouraging healthy lifestyles in all our programs. Youth in our
Before and After School programs, summer camps, enrichment and wellness programs
participate in games and activities to keep active and learn about nutrition and making
healthier choices in their daily routine. We encourage your family to enjoy healthy
and active time together!
Social Responsibility
The Y provides programs and services to our neighbors in need, connects people with opportunities to support their community, and fosters the care and respect all people need and deserve.
Through the Y, children learn ways they can help give back to their community, and
leadership programs prepare teens for a successful future through civic engagement.
The Community YMCA is a non-profit, 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to benefi ting the lives of youth, teens, adults and seniors in our local communities. The Y provides $1.2 million dollars to support the local community each year, and financial assistance is available for all our programs.
