In 1942, Red Bank Day Nursery opened at The Community YMCA to meet the needs of children whose mothers worked in war plants.
The Red Bank Family Health & Fitness Center has a longstanding relationship with the community since its founding in 1874. The Center offers programs and activities in aquatics, health and fitness, sports and youth, family programming and teen leadership, and is more than just a "gym and swim." We provide a variety of character building activities, leadership development programs, adult education and collaborative efforts with other groups.
