20.1-Make Your Own Class

This class is perfect for families or friends who want their children to participate in the same class but cannot find a class that fits their schedule or with availability. Participants should be at the same swim level. Privce is for eight, 30-minute sessions, class size up to 4 participants and need to be paid in full at the time of booking. 25-Special Private Lessons for Special People

This one-one-one 30 minute aquatic program, taught by our Y Swim Instructors is ideal for special needs children. Lessons are adapted to each child's specific needs and limitations.
28-Adult Beginner Swim Lesson

This is the chance for you to catch up to your kids-don't put off learning to swim for one more day! The YMCA's Aquatics staff will help you gain the confidence you need to learn the strokes and swim into a healthier lifestyle. This class is for the non-swimmer and is taught in the Huber Pool.
31 Adult Intermediate Stroke Improvement

This is for the beginner swimmer looking to become comfortable in deep water and work on stroke development. The YMCA's Aquatics Staff will help you gain the confidence you need to swim in deep water and help with your stroke development.
32- Adult Stroke Improvement / Beginner Masters

Ages 18 and up
This Beginner Master Swim training program is a great way to get back into swimming. This workout is a non-weight-bearing way to improve your cardiovascular system and stay fit. Our coaches will help swimmers to finesse stroke techniques, improve endurance, and encourage a healthy and safe swim routine. There is no deed to be an extraordinary swimmer: you just need to enjoy swimming.
33- Y Masters

This program is for the adult swimmer who can swim all 4 competitive strokes. The Y-Masters Coach will work on individual progress and goals while focusing on stroke development. Program has ongoing enrollment and participants are welcomed to join at any time.
34- Y Tri-Swimming

Ages 18 and up
Are you a beginner or advanced swimmer lokking for a swim clinic to complement your triathlon training goals? Would you like to build your skills, technique, confidence and endurance for your next triathlon, but worry about the swimming portion of the competition? The course is designed to complement the already training tri-athlete's workout. Participants will learn and improve swimming skills and techniques necessary for endurance training. Specific open-water drills, activities and simulations are planned. PREREQUISITE: Athletes must be able to swim one length of the pool with out the assistance of a floatation device.
36-ARC CPR/AED Training Full Course

Ages 13 and up
The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers course is to teach those with a duty to act the knowledge and skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim experiencing cardiac arrest. For successful completion of the course students must attend all scheduled classes and participant in all skill scenarios, there are no make-ups. Demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios. Pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 80 percent. Course includes resuscitation mask ONLY. Student manual can be downloaded online at www.redcross.org or can be purchased at the Y for an additional fee, while supplies last
36-Lifeguard Review/Update Course

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Recertification/ Update is for currently or recently expired lifeguards to get recertified in ARC Lifeguarding, CPR/AED and First Aid. For successful completion of the course, students must attend all schedules classes, participate in all skills scenarios, demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios and pass the pre-test skills, all emergencies in and out of water scenarios and final written exam with a , minimum grade of 80 percent.
38-Lifeguard Pretest
Red Bank Family Health & Fitness Center
Ages 15 and up
This is a mandatory pre-test for all participants 15 & older who would like to take the A.R.C. Lifeguard Training Course. Swimmers must successfully complete the following swimming prerequisites: (#1) Swim 300 yards continuously demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing.(#2) Tread water for 2 min. using ONLY the legs. (#3) Complete the following timed event within 1min. & 40 sec.: Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using frontcrawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet to retrieve a 10 pound brick, return to the surface & swim 20 yards on their back to return to the starting point with both hands holding the brick at all times. (#4)Exit the water without using a ladder or steps. Once Participants pass the pretest, they will allow to register for training that fits their schedule. If a participant fails a pretest they have the option of registering for the Lifeguard Swim Training Course for an additional fee.
